Every order placed on RAIDZONE Market is covered by buyer protection. This guide explains exactly what that means — what scenarios are covered, how to open a dispute, what the resolution process looks like, and when you can expect a refund.

The Core Promise

When you pay for an item on RAIDZONE Market, your money is held in escrow — it doesn't go to the seller until you confirm the order is complete. If delivery fails, you can dispute and get your money back. The seller only gets paid when you're satisfied.

Escrow model: Payment is collected at checkout and held until order completion. Sellers cannot access funds until the order is marked as delivered and the buyer doesn't dispute within the dispute window.

What's Covered

Covered

  • Item not delivered within the listed timeframe
  • Wrong item or quantity delivered
  • Item delivered in worse condition than described
  • Seller becomes unresponsive after payment
  • Delivery method doesn't match the listing
  • Seller requests off-platform payment

Not Covered

  • Buyer's change of mind after delivery
  • In-game account bans caused by buyer's own actions
  • Disputes opened after the 72-hour window closes
  • Orders where buyer moved communication off-platform
  • Items consumed or used before a dispute is opened

The Dispute Process — Step by Step

1. Delivery window passes without completion

If the seller hasn't delivered within their stated timeframe, you can open a dispute from your order page. The "Open Dispute" button becomes available after the delivery deadline.

2. Submit your dispute

Describe what happened and attach any relevant evidence — screenshots of the order chat, delivery instructions that weren't followed, or proof that the wrong item was delivered. The more specific your evidence, the faster the review.

3. Seller has 24 hours to respond

The seller is notified and given 24 hours to respond in the dispute thread. They can provide counter-evidence, offer a resolution, or accept responsibility. If they don't respond, the dispute is escalated automatically.

4. RAIDZONE Market reviews the case

Our trust team reviews the order chat, delivery evidence, and both parties' statements. We have access to the full order history. Most disputes are resolved within 24 hours of escalation.

5. Resolution

If the dispute is found in your favour, funds are returned to your original payment method. If found in the seller's favour, payment is released to the seller. Both parties are notified of the decision via email and in-app notification.

How Long Does a Refund Take?

Once a dispute is resolved in the buyer's favour:

  • RAIDZONE Market wallet credit — Instant. Available immediately for your next purchase.
  • Original payment method — 3–7 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • UPI payments — Typically 2–3 business days.
  • Crypto payments — 1–2 business days (conversion via our payment processor).

The Dispute Window

You have 72 hours after the order's listed delivery deadline to open a dispute. After this window closes, the payment is automatically released to the seller and the order is marked complete.

Don't delay: If something is wrong with your order, open a dispute as soon as you notice — don't wait to see if the issue resolves itself. The 72-hour window starts from the delivery deadline, not from when you notice the problem.

What Counts as Evidence?

Strong disputes have clear evidence. Here's what helps:

  • Screenshots of the order chat — Showing what was agreed, what delivery instructions were given, and any communication breakdowns
  • Screenshots of your in-game inventory — Before and after delivery, showing the item didn't arrive or arrived in wrong quantity
  • Timestamps — Screenshots with visible system time if the delivery window is the core issue
  • The listing description — If the item didn't match what was advertised, a screenshot of the original listing is useful

Tips for Avoiding Disputes

Most disputes happen because of communication breakdowns. These steps prevent most issues:

  1. Read the listing carefully before buying — Check delivery method, estimated time, and item specifications
  2. Follow seller instructions exactly — In-game delivery often requires you to be at a specific location or available at a specific time
  3. Communicate through the order chat — Keep all communication on-platform so it's part of the order record
  4. Confirm receipt immediately — Once you've received your item, mark the order complete promptly

Seller Accountability

Sellers on RAIDZONE Market have skin in the game. Disputes filed against them affect their seller score and eligibility to continue operating on the platform. Sellers with a pattern of failed deliveries or disputes are reviewed by our seller trust team and may be suspended. Verified seller status requires passing identity checks and maintaining a clean delivery record.

Buyer Protection Applies to Every Game We Support

Everything above — the escrow model, the dispute process, the 72-hour window — applies identically no matter which game you're buying for. Here's what to check per game:

Final Thoughts

Buyer protection isn't a fallback — it's the structural guarantee that makes the marketplace safe to use. The escrow model means you're never at risk of paying and getting nothing. If something goes wrong, the dispute process gives you a clear, documented path to resolution. If it goes right (which it does the vast majority of the time), you confirm and the seller gets paid. Everyone wins.
